Lite Horlicks is a HFD, specially designed to suit the nutritional needs of active adults

  • Ans: Horlicks Lite is recommended for age group of 19 yrs and onward. 

  • Ans: No, Horlicks Lite is not recommended for children.

  • Ans: Though Horlicks Lite has no added sugar to it but it does have baseline sugar content which may affect blood glucose level. You are thus required to consult your physician prior to consumption of the product. 

  • Ans: Oxidative stress is an imbalance between the production of reactive oxygen species and a biological system's ability to readily detoxify the reactive intermediates or easily repair the resulting cellular injury/damage.

  • Ans: Antioxidant  nutrients are man-made or natural substances that interact with and neutralize free radicals, thus preventing them from causing damage.

  • Ans: Antioxidant nutrients are known to help strengthen internal defenses against excessive oxidative stress that can cause cell damage.

  • Ans: Horlicks Lite is recommended to be served 3 heaped teaspoonfuls (25 g.) in hot water or skimmed milk, twice a day. 

  • Ans: During digestion, your body breaks dietary protein down into small subunits, called amino acids. Your cells can then reassemble those amino acids into the thousands of proteins needed to maintain your tissues, as well as support cell growth.
